MFC Foundation’s charity golf day will be held on the 27th May 2022, at Romanby Golf Club. This year’s event is kindly sponsored and supported by Doornbos.
All proceeds from the day will support MFC Foundation, the official charity of Middlesbrough Football Club. Set up by Chairman Steve Gibson in 1996, MFC Foundation harnesses the passion and power of the Football Club brand to raise aspirations and improve the life chances of young people and adults across Teesside.
The day will consist of 18 holes of golf at Romanby Golf Course. Set in over 200 acres of serene parkland the championship standard golf course follows the meandering route of the River Wiske. The natural landscape lays out a challenging experience for golfers of all abilities. The teams will tee off on a shotgun start at 10 am, followed by a two course celebration meal including presentations for winning teams and prizes for the longest drive and nearest the pin.

Price – £350 per team (this includes Hole sponsorship)
Price – £275 per team (without hole sponsorship)
Team – Stableford, best two of four (full handicap max 28)
The day includes:
• Meet and greet at the Clubhouse
• Bacon roll with tea or coffee on arrival
• Shotgun start
• 18-holes of fantastic golf
• 2 course meal
• Presentations and raffle
• Competitions including: Nearest the pin, longest drive and beat the pro
• Hole in one competition
• Buggies and trolleys available to hire
