Traineeships

16 – 24 and looking for work?  How about having MFC Foundation in your corner?

We will be restarting our fantastic Traineeship scheme in September and some places are still available.

We offer 1-2-1 and group support from our expert employment coaches, a dedicated tutor to help improve your functional skills and offer access to our extensive range of employer partners for work experience and potential vacancies.

Whether you want to work in sport, care, security, admin, engineering, retail or hospitality – or even if you have no idea what you want to do yet, we can help.

This is an active course where we want to spend as much time as possible outside of the training room.

This will include opportunities for free sport sessions with our Foundation coaches and the chance to work as a team supporting your local community.

Win The Shirt They Wore On An Historic Day

IT was Chris Wilder’s first game in charge and the Boro players proudly wore shirts with MFC Foundation replacing 32Red across the front, thanks to a generous agreement with Kindred Group.

Saturday November 20th 2021 was a day to remember.

The shirts worn, and in the case of the unused substitutes match issued, by the players on duty that day are up for auction.

https://www.matchwornshirt.com/club/middlesbrough/1175 is the link you need to see if anything catches the eye and within your price range. As much as we would like the shirts to raise as much money as possible for us here at the Foundation, we would only want you to bid if you can afford it – please auction responsibly.

Have a look through the gallery of action shots from the game, then have a look at the auction site.

If you’re bidding, thank you and good luck! If not, just enjoy the pictures taken by Tom Banks and Andrew Varley.

The auction closes at 3pm UK time this Sunday, November 28.
