It might have been a cold and wet day but there was no dampening the enthusiasm of the 35 primary schools that descended on the Herlingshaw Centre for the local qualifiers in the EFL Utilita Kids Cup.
Eight progressed to the quarter-finals which are scheduled for two week’s time.
