BORO star Tommy Smith was a welcome guest at the Herlingshaw this afternoon.
Teams representing 39 primary schools from across the area had been competing since early this morning in the Utilita Kids Cup, and after training ahead of the Sunderland game on Sunday, Tommy popped in to watch the youngsters, present some medals and mix with the participants to the delight of everyone.
Nice to see the EFL on site too as we concluded our contribution to their Week of Action.
