IN partnership with the University of South Wales we are offering a unique and exciting way into building a successful career within the sports industry.
Our Sports Coaching and Development degree programme will run for three years and will mix educational content with practical learning.
After two years you will gain a Foundation Degree in Sports Coaching and a full BSC in Sports Coaching and Development at the end of year three.
Every step of the way you will be supported by our qualified and experienced tutors who’s aim it is to assist the learning of every individual on the course. They have you in mind and want you to be the best you can possibly be.
Students will take part in lectures, practical sessions, work-based learning and residentials (at USW, accommodation and meals paid for).
Enrolment on to the programme will be in a staged approach.
- Expression of interest/open evening(our first open evening will be on the 16thof January in the Willie Maddren Centre at the Riverside Stadium)
- Invitation to an interview with course mentors and completion of a written assessment
- Complete the UCAS application, supported by MFCF Staff(1st UCAS deadline is the 25th of January
Our next open event is 6-8pm on Monday March 13th 2023 at the Willie Maddren Centre, Riverside Stadium. The course is due to start on August 23rd, so we would need to consider your application with UCAS asap.
We’re as excited as hopefully you are, as this is the first time we have offered such an opportunity and we’re delighted to working in partnership with an established and respected front runner in this course as the University of South Wales.
