OUR Goalkeepers course was by far and away the most popular it has ever been when it ran during the mid-terms school break.
While there were good numbers on the outdoor and indoor 4G pitches at the Herlingshaw for a Girls Only course, grass proved the best surface for a host of youngsters for whom goalkeeping was the attraction.
They were coached in the art of goalkeeping, before taking in part in small-sides games – which was quite interesting as everyone wanted to play in goal!
Each participant was presented with a medal as a memento of their day.
There will be another Goalkeepers course during the summer term break.
