We are delighted at the recent decision to overturn the cancellation of PE and Sports Premium for the nations primary schools, which means that PE and Sports Premium will now be available to all schools for the 2020/21 Academic Year.
Our school offer, endorsed by the Premier League Charitable Fund and the Football Association, provides high quality, curriculum-based Physical Education, which is student and school-centred.
Our team of coaches are highly qualified and experienced in pedagogy, coaching instruction and physical activity and wellbeing.
We know the challenges our young people and communities face, and as a result our staff also carry additional training and qualifications linked to Safeguarding, Child Sexual Exploitation, Safeguarding, Grooming, Positive Behaviour for learning, Sign Language, SEN support and Healthy Relationships.
WHY ARE WE DIFFERENT TO OTHER PROVIDERS?
Each of our partner schools will receive an extensive package of support as standard to run alongside their PE sessions completely free of charge. This includes collapsed curriculum days centred on Racism, SMSC, Healthy Lifestyles and Equality and Diversity. As well as a complimentary trip (and tour of) the Riverside Stadium when it is safe to do so once more.
Our extended primary school offer also encompasses acceleration and intervention programmes based around attendance, behaviour, literacy, numeracy and PSHE.
COVID-19 UPDATE
We would like to assure all our partners that our staff have been retrained in pedagogy and coaching to reflect the recent implantation of social distancing, individualised PE and general measures to suppress the spread of Coronavirus.
We have re-structured our schools policy and risk assessment to reflect these changes, and all staff are undertaking further consultation and instruction with professional governing bodies to ensure that provision provided does not compromise the safety of our beneficiaries and staff, nor the quality of delivery.
