CLOSE on 300 primary school children met with local employers as we staged two careers fairs at the Riverside.
Pupils from Bankfields, Harewood, Kirklevington, Lingdale, Reid Street and Skelton Primary Schools mixed between the Legends Lounge, the Riverside Suite and the stands of the stadium itself as they spoke with nine different employers, learning about jobs and careers.
It wasn’t all one way, the youngsters revealed their ambitions, which ranged from footballer and singer to airline pilot, asking some very interesting questions along the way.
