MFC Foundation’s first Will Month is a resounding success as our partnership with DS Wills and Estate Planning, Mack’s Solicitors and Jacksons Law raises vital funds to help inspire confidence and hope in those who need it throughout Teesside.
MFC Foundation plays an important part in supporting the local community. Working with some of the most disadvantaged areas of Teesside, the charity engages with individuals who would usually be hard to reach through the delivery of sport, education, health and inclusion projects.
In order to ensure that MFC Foundation can reach over 35,000 individuals in need of support, the charity needs to raise in excess of £2 Million annually.
With the support of DS Wills and Estate Planning, Mack’s Solicitors and Jacksons Law, MFC Foundation conducted their first Charity Will Month in March 2019. The Will Month allowed the general public to make a Will with one of the supporting firms at a cut price with 100% of the fee being donated to the charity.
The scheme has raised an astonishing £1630 which will ensure MFC Foundation can reach even more people needing grassroots support.
Emily Louise Robertson from Jacksons Law said ‘It was great to be involved in the Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation Wills Month. The Foundation do important work in the local area and it was great to be able to lend a hand in raising money for such a good cause’
Danielle Sutcliffe from DS Wills and Estate Planning added “To support such a wonderful charity in this way was an honour and an absolute pleasure, I will definitely continue to be involved in this initiative on an annual basis to ensure that we can raise enough funds for MFC Foundation to continue their life changing work”.
Adding to this, Jessica Shildrick from Mack’s Solicitors stated “Macks Solicitors are delighted to be given the opportunity to support MFC Foundation and the work they do in the local community. There are many good charities out there but it’s important to us to support charities in the local area who do work for local people and causes”
Ann-Marie Anderson, Business Development Manager at MFC Foundation added: “We’re really pleased to have had such a fantastic response to our first Will Month. The valuable support from the firms involved is crucial to allow MFC Foundation to continue our work across Teesside. We look forward to a long and successful partnership together and hope to offer the scheme to our supporters again in 2020”.
