MFC Foundation And Teesside Hospice Announce Charity Partnership

MFC FOUNDATION and Teesside Hospice have announced they will be working together on a number of projects that will see two of Teesside’s most loved charities coming together.

The collaboration on selected projects will see the two charities raise funds and back activities for young people and adults aimed at improving life chances and supporting those living with a terminal illness.

We create bespoke programmes in local communities aimed at increasing confidence and hope, raising aspirations across the generations and improving the chances of a better life.

MFC Foundation Business Development Manager Paul Shepherd commented: “We’re delighted to be working with Teesside Hospice, a charity that that helped so many and made such a positive difference for a long time. The work they do is incredible, it takes a special kind of person to be able to deliver what they do.

“Our work aligns with theirs in so many ways. We both have the Teesside community at heart. It’s people who makes those communities and both charities aim to support those people, those communities, as much as we can.”

Among the aims of Teesside Hospice is the drive to ensure people living with a terminal illness live as well as possible for as long as possible.

Channon Barlow, Fundraising Manager at Teesside Hospice says: “The collaborate work we’re doing with MFC Foundation is invaluable. We can both learn from each other, innovate, and grow. Increasing awareness of what the Foundation and the Hospice are doing is critical, so we can work together to raise money to help the people in our community that need us most. We’re both supported by the incredible Teesside community and we’re really looking forward to seeing what the collaboration will do in the future.”

It is hoped news of the first collaboration between Teesside Hospice and MFC Foundation will be released next week. To find out more about Teesside Hospice please visit www.teessidehospice.org
