MFC Foundation and a Christian charity based in Lincolnshire joined forces to help NHS workers in South Tees hospitals on Thursday afternoon.
His Church are a national charity who redistribute surplus or donated stock from the country’s leading supermarkets and manufacturers. They work through a support network of more than 3,000 charities, one of which is the charitable arm of Middlesbrough Football Club.
Richard, from His Church, made a close on 260-mile round-trip to deliver the stock from their base in a 50,000-squre-foot aircraft hangar near Market Rasen to the Riverside and that was where MFC Foundation took over.
A mini convoy of their social-distancing staff delivered much of the stock to the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton from where it will be distributed among NHS staff working in South Tees Hospitals.
