WE asked for your help to design a new warm-up t-shirt that would send out a simple message that Football Is For Everyone.
The result of a competition to design the item was outstanding, numerically and in terms of quality of entry.
We asked Boro’s first team to judge, with several entries coming in for praise.
There could, of course, be just one winner and that was 14-year-old Lillie Heard, who turns out to be a Season Card holder at the Riverside. Lillie should feel very proud.
The Foundation’s Amy Campbell organised the competition and she commented: “We were genuinely delighted with the number of entries and just how good they were. I’m glad I wasn’t picking the winner!
“Thank you to everyone who took part and to the lads at Rockliffe for taking the time to judge.”
We’re hopeful that Lillie’s t-shirt will be worn by the players to warm-up in a game later this season.
