We are delighted to release our Impact Report for 2023.
The report highlights the fantastic impact the Foundation has made within the last year as well as a look back at our work since 2019, as we plan ahead of our new 2024-28 Strategy.
It details our work through different age groups, with participants ranging from two to 102, and highlights a range of diverse and inclusive programmes, as well as demonstrating how the Foundation responded to significant challenges during the Pandemic and how we are responding to ongoing societal issues.
Some of our key impacts include:
- Anti-social behaviour is reduced by 80% during Premier League Kicks sessions
- Premier League Inspires has helped 12 secondary schools improve attendance and behaviour
- EFL Trust’s Move and Learn has helped 1,500 primary school children increase their activity levels and learn about nutrition
- FIT BORO, engaged with 450 participants over a three-year period with a combined weight loss of 180 stones
- Our Participant of the Year came from a mental health group, Think With Your Feet. The report includes his story, together with case studies evidencing long-term and sustained improvement to many life stories
- Chances, a Targeted Youth programme which reports a 94% increase in physical literacy from those who have participated in mentoring
- And how two participants want to “give back” to the Foundation and wider Teesside community following their move to this country and help from Football Welcomes
