Thank you to Durata and Middlesbrough FC Women for allowing us to be on the front of the player’s shirts, we hope you enjoyed the game and what we brought to a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.
It helped create history, it was the first time there had been a ‘Foundation’ game involving the men’s and women’s team from the same club in the same season.
From flag wavers, to walking out with the players, to mascots and a half-time coaching session in the centre circle, youngsters enjoyed themselves.
So to the adults, and thank you to everyone who bought a raffle ticket, made a donation or just asked about our programmes.
And not forgetting Roary who took time out from preparations for his big week to join in.
The player’s shirts will now be signed and put up for auction in a slightly different way to they way the shirts from the men’s game were in January.
