Golden Ticket Lotto & ‘Ayresome Angels’ Book On Sale Against Cardiff

Copies of Alistair Brownlee and Gordon Cox’s book, Ayresome Angels: The Boys of ’67 are on sale at for just £1 at the Foundation Station opposite the Ayresome gates prior to Saturday’s Championship match vs Cardiff City.

The book, written by the late, great Alistair Brownlee, follows the resilient nature of the Middlesbrough team of 1967, who bounced back from despair after relegation to Division Three, to go on to win promotion with a brand of exciting, attacking football which ensured their place in the history of the club.

Copies of the book will be sold in aid of MFC Foundation, the club’s official charity arm, to go towards some of the life-changing programmes we deliver in some of the Tees Valley’s most deprived areas.

Meanwhile in the Boro Lotto, there will be a guaranteed £1000 prize jackpot for the winner of Saturday’s match. The Boro Lotto tickets are on sale both inside and outside of all four stands of the stadium, with all of the proceeds going to MFC Foundation.

There is also prizes for both second and third, including a family entertainment package and vouchers for Ramsden’s Jewellery.

Our NCS participants will also be doing a bucket collection around the ground for the Foundation, so any spare change would be hugely appreciated (including your old £1 coins!)
