Food parcels donated by the players of Middlesbrough Football Club were today distributed throughout food banks and homes across Teesside.
The Boro squad donated 1,000 parcels which were collated and distributed by staff here at the Foundation, helping hundreds of vulnerable and socially isolated people in this time of great need.
“We have always said we will do what we can, where we can, where it is safe to do so,” said Head of MFC Foundation Helena Bowman.
“It was a great gesture by the players and we’re delighted to be able to help.
“It’s another example of the club and the Foundation working together for our community.”
