THE health and wellbeing of our communities is always at the forefront of our minds at the Foundation. What can we do to help?
We have a large selection of different clubs, classes and education opportunities for anyone who may be struggling with their health, or weight for any reason.
One of the new classes we have introduced to help tackle this is weekly sessions of Boxercise exercise classes, which work to not only help people lose weight but also to tone up.
The classes consist of a number of HIIT (high-intensity interval training) circuit workouts, implementing boxing training skills to help lose weight in fun but effective ways. There’s a number of different workouts to ensure you’re heart will know it’s had a workout and you’ll have worked up a sweat by the end of the session.
If you’re looking to shift some of that lockdown weight, or just get moving and feel a bit healthier, this might be the class for you. If you are interested in joining, sessions are £2, come along to one of our sessions at the Herlingshaw Centre in Eston on Wednesday nights 6-7 PM.
