Boro Trio Join Our Provision On Mental Health Day

Boro duo Matt Crooks and Dan Barlaser together with Middlesbrough Women striker Amber Rodgers joined in our Think With Your Feet Session on Tuesday, in support of World Mental Health Day.

The trio surprised participants at the Herlingshaw Centre in Eston, joining in drills and hosting a Q&A forum.

The football-based mental health session has expanded rapidly since its inception in February 2015, using the game as a valuable tool for therapy while encouraging participants to share their thoughts and feelings.

As well as the weekly football sessions, participants are also given the opportunity to represent MFC Foundation in national competitions run by other clubs operating similar initiatives.

In addition to Think With Your Feet, the Foundation’s Walking Football programme was also represented.
