MANY of you will have seen the work we have been doing within the community throughout the lockdowns and might be wondering how you can help?
We’re in another lockdown, with the possibility of greater restrictions to follow, but MFC Foundation will continue to work in some of the most disadvantaged areas of Teesside, engaging with those who are hard to reach where safe to do so.
In normal times, we would help through delivery of inspiring sport, education and health projects, some of which we are still able to do.
Like everyone, we’ve had to change the way we work, our help looks slightly different right now.
We’re supporting the local community by delivering school meals, by making vital contact with potentially isolated elderly residents, we also provide employability advice for young people aged 16-18, some of the hardest hit by the pandemic.
This work comes at a cost and if you can afford it, you can help us by becoming one of the team and signing up to become a Friend of the Foundation and make a real difference to YOUR community today.
Sign up today to our individual Friends of the Foundation scheme and you could win a Boro home shirt signed by Marcus Tavernier as he worked his way towards 100 appearances for the club. We are asking individuals to donate a fiver a month to become a Friend of the Foundation and everyone who signs up by January 31st 2021 will automatically be entered into the draw to win the signed shirt.
