MFC Foundation’s NCS team have linked up with the first year scholars of Boro’s renowned Academy to run a social action project helping to raise money to provide Five Acres Community Garden with sports equipment.
Five Acres is an organisation based in Newton Aycliffe that assists school and college leavers with learning difficulties with the aim of having a positive effect on all of the members that they work with through creating a fun, friendly and welcoming place, while promoting good health, practical skills and personal wellbeing.
The lads have created an auction of numerous items such as football boots, signed footballs, clothing and match-worn signed shirts to be bid for.
Please view the auction and bid on any items you may be interested in; all of the money will go to buy sports equipment for Five Acres.
Boro’s first team wore NCS t-shirts as they warmed-up for the game with West Brom at the Riverside two weeks ago.
