The beautiful wilds of the Northumberland National Park provided the backdrop for the latest outdoor adventures for one of our NCS groups.
The YHA at the Sill, the National Landscape Discovery Centre run in association with the National Park, hosted a group for the best part of five days, with adventures and activities run throughout.
When we caught up with our group it was Thursday, day four, on week one of four, and the group had been split into two.
One had taken off orienteering, the other learned archery skills, while team-building exercises brought everyone together.
The NCS project gives school leavers a chance to build their character, learn how to take responsibility, make friends and grow as people.
