Thr1ve is a collaborative programme delivered by three established football charity organisations – Blackburn Rovers Community Trust, Middlesbrough FC Foundation, and Chesterfield FC Community Trust.

Targeted Youth Officers provide one-to-one mentoring and group sessions for care-experienced young people aged 15-18, enabling them to build confidence, resilience and pathways into positive futures.

Using the trusted and stigma-free brand of football clubs, Thr1ve breaks down barriers to engagement and creates environments where young people have the chance not only to succeed but to live a prosperous and happy life.

Delivery is youth-led and flexible, meeting young people where they feel safe, whether that’s in schools, homes, community venues or football club facilities.

Once ready, young people will transition into weekly peer-led Thr1ve group sessions, offering positive activities that reduce isolation and help sustain engagement beyond mentoring.
