Funded by the Home Office and Middlesbrough Council, the Silver Recovery Group programme commenced in May 2025.
The programme, which comes as a funded response to the 2024 Middlesbrough riots, aims to engage young people across central and east Middlesbrough to raise awareness on the importance of respecting people from different backgrounds and increasing community cohesion through young people’s collaboration.
Silver Recovery Group aims to be a catalyst for young people to progress into positive pathways, including education, training, and employment.
