Premier League Kicks is a free, fun, welcoming programme that brings young people together through the power of football.

Delivered in partnership with the Premier League and professional football clubs, Kicks creates safe, inclusive spaces where young people can play, make friends and feel part of their community.

The programme aims to build safer, stronger and more respectful communities by helping young people develop confidence, life skills and a positive mindset both on and off the pitch. Sessions are designed to be enjoyable, supportive and inspiring, giving every participant the chance to be themselves, try new things and reach their potential. Working closely with local youth services, councils and the Police to provide trusted, well‑run activities that parents can feel confident in. Using football as a starting point, the programme encourages teamwork, respect and positive choices, while helping young people to raise their aspirations for the future.

All Premier League Kicks sessions are led by FA‑qualified coaches who act as positive role models and mentors. Young people also have a real voice through Premier League Youth Voice, helping shape activities and share ideas, ensuring sessions reflect what they enjoy and want to learn. Young people who show commitment and a positive attitude can access exciting opportunities throughout the year. These include visits to Middlesbrough FC first-team matches, friendly fixtures against other Kicks teams, and chances to test themselves against players from other professional clubs.

Premier League Kicks also offers pathways beyond football, including qualifications such as FA Playmaker Awards and opportunities to develop leadership skills. Many participants grow into roles where they support others, build confidence and discover strengths they didn’t know they had. Coaches build strong, trusted relationships with young people, encouraging them to aim high and reminding them that with the right support and effort they can achieve anything.
