The Optimise with Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation programme is a collaboration between the Foundation and The Optimise Cancer Prehabilitation service at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Optimise Cancer Prehabilitation helps support patients to prepare physically, nutritionally, mentally, and emotionally for all cancer treatments by enhancing strength, fitness, and overall health before and during treatment.

In each session, participants will take part in a one-hour exercise session (which will be adapted as required) followed by one hour of refreshments, social and emotional support, and activities based around goal-setting and mindfulness.

Sessions delivered by qualified Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation coaches and instructors who are supportive and caring. The programme offers participants a unique opportunity to exercise and get a behind-the-scenes experience of the Riverside Stadium.

The sessions are held weekly in the following locations:

Riverside Stadium         Shepherdson Way       TS3 6RS       Mondays       1-3pm
Southlands Centre         Ormesby Road            TS3 8RE       Fridays          1-3pm
