Match Fit is a 12-week programme for men and women aged 35-65 (give or take a year or two).

Grove Hill Funded Programme

Our 12-week Match Fit programme supports adults across Teesside to improve their physical and mental wellbeing through structured, accessible activity. Designed for people who may feel inactive, isolated, or lacking confidence, the programme combines weekly group exercise with practical wellbeing workshops.

Participants learn about healthy habits, nutrition, motivation, and building sustainable routines, all while gaining confidence in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. Match Fit helps individuals increase their fitness levels, reduce stress, and feel more connected to their community.

By the end of the 12 weeks, participants are equipped with the tools and encouragement to continue leading healthier, more active lives.

Weekly Paid Sessions - Riverside Stadium & Skelton Civic Hall

The weekly paid Match Fit sessions offer a friendly, structured environment where adults can improve their fitness and wellbeing at two accessible community venues: the Riverside Stadium and Skelton Civic Hall. Each session combines low-pressure physical activity with guidance on building healthier routines, helping participants grow confidence at their own pace.

The Riverside sessions provide a unique, inspiring setting linked to Middlesbrough FC, while Skelton Civic Hall offers a welcoming local space for those in East Cleveland. Across both sites, the focus is on enjoyment, consistency, and creating a supportive group atmosphere that encourages long-term positive lifestyle changes.
