Raising over £12,000 at present, with donations still flooding in, we’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to those individuals who have given up their time in the boldest of fashions, fundraising to help make a genuine impact to those across the Tees Valley.
On a beautiful northeast morning, our earliest skydivers arrived at 8am and were treated to glorious, clear skies. Some even commented they could see the Riverside Stadium as they were circling to the drop point.
Having each undergone their own training session, the skydivers were strapped to a trained professional, enjoying a 30-second freefall before the parachutes were deployed. Once open they were treated to views of County Durham and the North Sea on the descent back to the airfield.
All skydivers came away with a sense of purpose and pride, making for a truly special day. Thank you to everyone involved.
