Our final networking event of the year saw 30 companies join us for mince pies, coffee and heartwarming stories of the work we’ve been able to undertake thanks to their generosity throughout the year.

The event, at Rockliffe Park Golf Club, the final one of the year for our Business Development team, gave like-minded businesses the chance to mix and mingle in a relaxed environment.

There was a giving tree, a Christmas tree where gift tags mixed with tinsel and decorations.

The tags outlined just what donations could do to help our work. For example, £10 would allow two people to attend one of our monthly dementia dances.

The same amount would go towards ensuring no child has a life without books, while £30 would buy a child’s sports kit, taking pressure off a family. £100 would pay for a group of 10 to take part in an activity session improving their physical and mental health.

Once more, we found ourselves humbled by the generosity of everyone there.
