Two MFC Foundation teams were represented at the Premier League Kicks Cup regional finals, hosted by Bradford City FC Community Foundation.
12 local CCOs from across the north of England competed for a place in the national finals. The 12 teams were split into two groups with the top four advancing to the knockout stage.
Both our boys and girls teams finished third in their respective groups but the quarter-finals would prove a step too far.
Playing out a 1-1 draw against Sheffield Wednesday, the boys were defeated 2-1 on penalties while the girls were edged out 2-1 by northeast neighbours Sunderland.
