In what has become a fixture of our holiday provision, the latest Premier League Kicks intersite event was another success.
The event, this time held at Middlesbrough College, brings together participants from all our Kicks hubsites, ranging from Hartlepool through to Skelton.
As well as playing football, the groups took part in a workshop where they learned about the dangers of knife crime and how it is so important to work towards eradicating it from our streets.
Each team had a manager, all of whom dressed up as a manager/coach from the professional game.
The range included Brian Clough to Arsene Wenger and included Gareth Southgate and two Bryan Robson’s – and here’s you thinking there was only one – from his iconic jacket, shorts and scarf photo from the 1990s.
There was an Ange Postecoglou, a Jonathan Woodgate, a Jason Tindall, Eddie Howe’s assistant at Newcastle and a Ted Lasso.
Great fun and a great day out and for the record the winners were from our Kings Academy group.
