Galley Hill Progress In Premier League Primary Stars U11s Girls Cup

Galley Hill School in Guisborough were deserved winners of the Premier League Primary Stars U11 Girls Cup qualifiers at the Herlingshaw.

A total of 18 teams entered with Galley Hill beating Pallister Park on penalties in one semi-final, with last year’s winners Whinney Banks getting the better of Crooksbarn in the other.

There was to be no repeat trophy for Whinney Banks, as once more perfectly taken penalties gave the opposition goalkeeper no chance and Galley Hill progressed to play against teams from around the North East in the regional finals, this year hosted in Newcastle.

The winners there will play the winners of the nine other regional rounds.

The Premier League Primary Stars Girls U11s tournament is a national competition bringing together the best U11 girls school teams in the country.
