Three MFC Foundation employees have submitted successful applications to join the Football Association’s Leadership Academy (FALA) Course.
Amy Neil and Ryan Keenan, both Education and Employability Activators, and University of South Wales Student Bailey Savage have all been admitted to the highly-competitive FA programme.
The 12-month learning and development course sees participants supported to implement a project designed for positive change within their local footballing community.
The prestigious Leadership Academy, which provides high-quality mentoring to inspire the next generation of grassroots coaches, began with a four-day residential at Warwick in July.
Ryan said: “I’m passionate about making a change in my community and helping develop grassroots football.
“To have three on the course across the Foundation shows the positive pathways within the organisation.”
Amy acknowledged: “It’s a great opportunity and one that I wasn’t willing to pass up. It’s something I’ve never done before and I’m really excited.”
Bailey said: “The main reason for applying was to meet new people from across the country. I get to engage and share my ideas with them and develop myself.”
