Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of four new trustees to its Board, further strengthening the charity’s leadership and governance as we continue to support communities across Teesside.

Joining the Board are Hollie Ball, Partner at Ward Hadaway LLP - specialising in employment law, Joe Thompson, Director of Development at Yorkshire Sport Foundation, Liam McDermott, UK Legal Director at Taylor Wimpey PLC and Linda Minns, a governance professional with over 20 years' experience.

The quartet will bring fresh perspectives, valuable expertise, and a shared commitment to the Foundation’s mission of inspiring confidence, inspiring hope, and creating opportunities through the power of football.

The appointments reflect the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to ensuring strong governance and diverse experience at board level as we continue to deliver impactful programmes across our themes of stronger, thriving and healthier communities.

Charlotte Dinsdale, Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, said: “We are delighted to welcome Hollie, Liam, Joe and Linda to the Board of Trustees. It is a fantastic time to join the Foundation as we celebrate 30 years of serving communities across the Tees Valley.

"I would also like to place on record my thanks to Peter Rowley, former Vice Chair, who has served for more than 13 years as a trustee, and Jo Smith, who has dedicated over nine years of service to the Foundation. Their support, expertise and commitment have been invaluable.

“The Foundation has grown significantly in recent years, and the experience, insight and enthusiasm that our new trustees bring will be crucial as we continue to develop our programmes and increase our impact across the Tees Valley.

“Our trustees play a vital role in helping to shape the strategic direction of the charity, ensuring we remain focused on delivering the very best outcomes for the communities we serve. We look forward to working closely with Hollie, Liam, Joe and Linda as we continue to inspire confidence, inspire hope and change lives through the power of Middlesbrough Football Club.”
