Individual Friends of the Foundation

Individual Friends of the Foundation

Now more than ever people want to be involved with the work of the Foundation and to support our cause.  We have a scheme in place to recognise business partners and would like to have a way to acknowledge and celebrate individual donors too.  We want them to feel that they are part of the team.

With this in mind, we have an individual Friends of the Foundation scheme.  We are asking individuals to donate a fiver a month to become Friends of the Foundation.

All Friends of the Foundation will be given the option to have their name on a website Hall of Fame, highlighting their support and commitment.  They will also receive a quarterly newsletter telling them about the impact of their donation and have the chance to be entered in a free quarterly draw for Boro goodies.

How do people sign up?

We’re Looking For School Teams To Play In the Utilita Girls Cup

EACH season the English Football League organises two competitions (Kids Cup and Girls Cup) for junior footballers from schools across the country, with the finals being played in the build-up to some of the biggest matches of the domestic season.

The Utilita EFL Girls Cup comprises of a six-a-side competition for U13 girls that culminates in a grand final prior to the EFL Trophy Final at Wembley Stadium in April 2022.

We’re hosting our qualifying round on Tuesday 23rd November from 9-12 noon at our Herlingshaw Centre.

The winners of this competition will then go on to represent MFC Foundation at the area finals in January, along with nine other clubs.

Following the area finals are the regional finals and then the national final against schools representing other EFL clubs.  At every stage of the competition there are some great prizes for schools to win; certificates, pennants, medals and trophies will help all participants remember their achievement of taking part in one of the country’s largest national football competitions.

If you would be interested in entering one or two school teams into this event, please e-mail Rachel at requesting an entry form.
