School Participation
"Working with MFC Foundation has led to incredible results within this year. Before the support of the foundation NS Academy did not have a girls afterschool football club and the girls lacked interest due to not been given the opportunity to play in school time before.

The project provided by MFC Foundation has had a significant interest and led to regular participation that has continued throughout the year due to the highly motivational and skilled coaches that have been working at NS Academy.

The project has allowed the school to have a girls football team, play in tournaments and ensure their time out of school remains productive and meaningful. It has also allowed individual students to make significant progress and performance improvements which has lead to the school now entering girls into the Stockton school football league.

In my opinion the project has been a great success and this is due to great efforts of staff working within this project. Myself and students are looking forward to another successful year with the project and we thank all involved! "

"I've worked with Charlotte and the team from Kicks for a couple of years during which time they've delivered sessions in the Community Hubs and adjacent MUGA's. The team are extremely proactive and experienced. They've worked and are working in some very challenging areas with young people with complex problems. Through the sport they've managed to foster relations with these young people and teach them valuable life skills. An example of which is in Easterside where a young person who came to the sessions already in receipt of an ASBO has managed to engage with the project and turn both his attitude and life round as a result."
